Community Park 42 is a major recreational development for the City of Merced, designed to serve as a regional destination for sports, recreation, and community events. Located in the southeastern portion of the city near UC Merced, major highways, and a growing commercial district, the project is being developed in multiple phases to support the region’s expanding recreational needs.
Dynamic provided the electrical infrastructure for Phase 1 (CP-42 South) of the park’s development. Our scope included installation of new power distribution systems, transformers, switchboards, panelboards, and underground electrical infrastructure to support the park’s facilities and site lighting. The project also included installation of parking lot and pedestrian lighting poles, electrical connections for irrigation and booster pump systems, and provisions for future EV charging infrastructure.
The completed electrical systems support safe and reliable park operations while preparing the site for future expansion as additional phases of Community Park 42 are developed into a regional sports complex.
