JUSTIN GARZA VAPA THEATER

Our team is currently providing electrical construction services for the Justin Garza High School VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts) and Theater Building in Fresno, California, for the Central Unified School District. This project is in the early stages of construction and will support a modern performing arts and educational facility designed to serve students and the surrounding community.

The scope of work includes installation of low-voltage electrical transmission systems, power distribution infrastructure, conduit systems, and architectural lighting throughout the theater and VAPA complex. As construction progresses, our electricians are coordinating closely with project architects, engineers, and other trades to ensure proper routing of electrical systems and seamless integration with the building’s structural and mechanical components.

Planned electrical systems for the facility include energy-efficient LED lighting packages, recessed linear lighting, and exterior architectural luminaires designed to support classrooms, corridors, lobby areas, and performance spaces. These lighting systems are designed to meet current energy codes while enhancing visibility, safety, and the overall environment within the arts facility.

The project also requires detailed planning around electrical service equipment and transformer locations to maintain safe pedestrian circulation and ADA-compliant access routes within the service yard areas.

As the project moves through the construction phase, our team will complete installation of electrical panels, conduit infrastructure, lighting controls, and specialized electrical equipment necessary to support the theater’s technical and performance systems.
