Madera Elops Phase 2 Track Upgrades

Dynamic Electrical Contracting & Controls, Inc. has recently commenced electrical construction for the Madera Unified School District Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP) Athletic Field Lighting Project, a multi-campus improvement initiative currently underway at Desmond Middle School, Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School, and Thomas Jefferson Middle School in Madera, California. The project is part of Madera USD’s broader effort to expand safe, accessible facilities that support after-school learning programs, athletics, and community activities. Dynamic Electrical is responsible for the installation of new electrical infrastructure and high-performance sports lighting systems designed to provide reliable illumination for evening programs while improving campus safety and operational efficiency. Work includes directional drilling and underground installation of electrical conduits and feeders across the campuses, installation of new electrical panels, transformers, and distribution equipment, and upgrades to existing main switchboards with new 225-amp breakers. The project also includes furnishing and installing MUSCO high-mast athletic lighting systems, including augered pole foundations, concrete bases, pole erection, and lighting control equipment. Additional electrical scope includes power and communications infrastructure for athletic scoreboards, electrical connections for rooftop HVAC equipment, installation of lift station power systems with explosion-proof conduit assemblies where required, and integration with existing campus electrical systems. The work also involves underground trenching, grounding systems, and coordination with site utilities and other trades across multiple school sites. This electrical contract is currently in progress, and once completed will deliver modern, energy-efficient lighting systems and upgraded electrical infrastructure that will support expanded evening athletic programs and community use at all three campuses.
